Regional Drive-In Conferences - Fall 2010
The North Carolina Teacher Academy invites you to participate in the Fall 2010 Regional Drive-in Conferences. These professional development programs will be offered from the mountains to the coast. Details for each of the programs can be found below. In order to serve the needs of as many North Carolina teachers as possible, you may register for only one conference. Each regional conference includes: - All course materials
- 1.0 Continuing Education Unit
- A $100 stipend
- A refreshment break Friday evening
- A continental breakfast and full lunch on Saturday
NOTE: In order to provide a variety of professional development opportunities for teachers, the Teacher Academy organized the Regional Drive-In Conferences to be geographically distributed across the state. Although all sessions are not offered at all sites, the variety of sessions provides teachers with professional development in close proximity to their homes. These sessions are intended to be drive-in sessions, rather than residential sessions. In some locations at particular times of the year, overnight accommodations are very limited. Please keep this in mind as you register for a session. If needed, overnight accommodations are your responsibility.
Conference ScheduleDue to an overwhelming response in registration, we are creating a waiting list. If you wish to be listed, click here. It is specific to each drive-in session. When the session fills, an announcement will be posted on that particular page under the Conference Updates heading. - Can other teachers from my school or district attend?
