Frequently Asked Questions

In an effort to provide educators more opportunities for professional development that meet your individual needs, we are offering new online courses starting January 2010. Our first cohort of learners will be able to enroll in one of three courses. Each course will provide 10 weeks of online instruction for a total of 20 contact hours, or 2.0 continuing education units to be used for license renewal. (Your local education agency may require prior approval for credits earned.) In this time of limited professional development funds, the North Carolina Teacher Academy is offering these online sessions at no cost to the participant.

Enrollment limited to the first 50 participants who register for each course.  Registration ends when the session fills. When registration closes, you will be notified about your selection.
